hellllllllllllloooooooooooooo- hahahaha. I'm just typing REALLY quickly because my internet connection is playing silly buggers AGAIN! - can't open big pages and it just disconnects itself when it feels like it- LOL. ( I'm on my GO SLOW as I hit my capping already- but with the OVERLOAD on the server at the end of the month it does it ANYWAY!! hahaha)
Can't even upload a LO for you- boo hoo, it just gives me time outs-
So I thought I'd just say I'm alive and and

I cut Wayne's hair last night ( told you I would-hahahahaha)- Oh I wish you could have seen his reaction when I took the top of the hair and just put the *shearing* scissor close to the scalp and closed them- WAHAHAHAHA, it sounds like a normal scissor and FEELS like you are CUTTING the hair off at the scalp! He JUMPED, and said * what the F..beep are you doing?*- My reaction- ROTFLMAO!!!! Until I showed him what it did he wouldn't sit down again! We giggled through the whole haircut- but HEE HEE, he looking GOOD TODAY!

WHOOOPIEEE- my hair is back to *normal* as I would put it- LOL. It's got blonde streaks in it again ( can't see those whitish ones anymore- THANK GOODNESS!!) And as Wayne would say- I went to therapy this morning ( only got back well after 2pm! hahahaha), but he is sooo soooo right- There are NOT many people that I know that laugh louder than me ( Andrew is ONE of the few that do!!) He has a booming laugh that sends you into FITS of laughter just at the sound of it- Oh I always walk out there feeling like I've had a holiday ( besides taking over his kitchen in the back too- LOL) I had seed bread and coffee for lunch compliments of *the Salon*- tee hee. Cheeky I know- but after nearly 15 years- it's like family and I always get told to help myself- and Um while I'm at it- he'll have some too- LOL.

He also surprised me today! He knows I cut everyones hair and I had asked him a few years ago about *shearing* scissors and where I could buy some-(usually only from a supplier not a store)- WELL, after seeing the price of them I laughed and told him I wasn't doing King's and Queens and that I would just have to do it the HARD way ( thin out by scissor slicing)- HE GAVE ME A PAIR today!!! I SWEAR- just out of the BLUE!! I had such a lump in my throat!!- on condition that I still come back tho- wahahahaha. - they are AWESOME!!!! Oh Waynie, you want your hair cut tonight?????? hee hee.

GGRRR_ LOL, did they cause me a TON of grey hair last night- ( just ask my poor CT- LOL) I think they had 6 different mails with different sizes on EACH MAIL and the words DELETE the last mail-hahahahaha, and I still KEPT GETTING THEM WRONG!! hahahaha- see being blonde sometimes is just NOT A GOOD THING!- I eventually figured out what I was doing wrong after the 4th time- and NOW I DON"T LIKE THEM- wahahahahaha, the writing is sooo small- I tried to *match up to the header*- and get a uniformed sort of look- Well it's uniformed but I think you need a magnifying glass to read them- ROTF!

Never mind- I'll save that frustration for another day- at least I LEARNT A LOT about animations and making them in the process-haha.

And yup I can MOVE today- still tweaks and aches but hell you should have seen me trying to get a fork to my mouth last night- even Wayne in his *sarcastic chirpy* voice says- UMM- little stiff are we???- WHO??? ME???? NOOOOO, I'm fine- (of COURSE I'm fine- I played golf with the boys and THEY aren't stiff you know-LOL), he just giggled at me, then we both laughed! I'm such an ASS sometimes- don't like to admit I'm *weak*- hahahaha,

Tomorrow I'm going to my *magician hairdresser ANDREW*- wooooohoooooo, getting my hair highlighted and trimmed ( I cut it myself last because he was on leave- so it really needs his magic touch now-Bring on that wand(his comb) Andrew-hee hee)

hahaha- I am, gee's at the moment I can hardly push my mouse! My arms are STUCK in a half bent position and it's PAIN to stretch them- WAHAHAHA,- WHY??- Well I went and played a game of GOLF yesterday with my family- I REALLY need to get some practise again-LOL, playing once every now and again is JUST NOT good for the A$$ and the arms people! - I spent most of the day in the BUSH and the ROUGH ( which is NOT a good thing for unfit arms or your golf score -LOL) - but at least I *entertained* them for the 5 hours we were out there! WAHAHAHA. Nearly died in the heat too- sure Wayne was trying to collect on all my life insuarance policies ALL AT ONCE yesterday- hahahaLOL.

Phewwwie, guys- this has been a roller coaster ride this week- I'm laughing and the next minute bawling like a babe! I can't thank you enough for all your story's- I never ever realised just how much Forgotten Not would effect everyone- including me!! But I think that is why we SCRAP- it's about memory's isn't it?- Sad or Happy, its a way of preserving OUR history- our lives and THAT is what makes this community so special! We understand that and the strength of your comments to all those sharing their own pain is truely inspirational THANK YOU!

And here is my completed 2nd LO of my MA- I loved how this came out and have sent it to the whole family too- The first pic was taken before she contracted Luekemia and the second smaller one a few months before she passed away- But It was a lot easier doing this one after I did the first one, I actually smiled while doing it- which felt GOOD! Used a template by Frieska that I adapted.

OK- I thought I'd throw an IDEA out there to you- YOU all know I have my Designers Grab bag up ONCE every month- (and yup the next one is in the works-LOL)- But I thought I'd try something DIFFERENT- There are sooo MANY out there - SO HERE is my idea-LOL

Thursday?? and for MAX

Shheeee's what happend to Wednesday???- Someone give it back- LOL. My dad had asked me last week to trim his hair- so he arrives this morning and is sort of wandering around the house ( which isn't really unusual-LOL) - but not really here for anything ( usually he brings his washing with him for me to do-) so I asked him if he was OK and what was up- he say's he's waiting for me to finish what I'm doing so I could cut his hair-LOL. I of course in my BLONDE moment- say but that's tomorrow isn't it- UUUURRRRR- NO, WAHAHAHA, It's TODAY- Oh gee's I SWEAR that it was Wednesday when I woke up this morning- haha , Well dad got his haircut and I lost a day- hee hee

But GUESS WHAT- WOOHOOO, it's just one more day closer the the weekend!

And it was Colleens Bday yesterday- Hip Hip Hip Horraaaaayyy! Here's wishing you ALL you wish yourself and more this year Col- I hope it's a good one filled with lots of love and tons of laughter!

And back to a more serious note-

Firstly-Thanks soo sooo much for all your e-mails and personal story's too- I've got to know a LOT of you more personally- and I've got Andrew to thank for that- Judi can't believe just how many people have gone to see Andrews website to read a little bit more about him- she Thanks you from the bottom of her heart!.

I also got to know my dear friend and CT member Renee a little better too - She was in tears when she recieved the Forgotten Not kit and has now managed to scrap pictures of her late brother MAX and his funeral-

I would like to share these with you and the story too- Thank you Renee for sharing your heart girl!

I'll share my story with you all.

My mom never had much luck with boys. I'm a twin and my brother was still born (That's why Precious Angel Memories is also a favourite kit), then my mom fell pregnant with 2 more boys that didn't make it beyond 2 weeks. Then the miracle happened when I was 10 and my gorgeous brother Glynn was born. Of course we all spoilt him rotten and he was a real terror, to the point that we gave him the nickname Max for the movie Mad Max.

We were a biking family. My dad rode a motorbike and we grew up on motorbikes, but we have chronic allergies and Max was severely asthmatic. On the 24th July 2004 Max was out riding his bike and had an asthma attack, lost control of his bike and because of the hardening of his chest from all the cortisone to control his disease, the paramedics could only stand by and watch him die. In 3 years not a day has gone by that we don't miss him

This set of four photo's were some of the pics that she say's were SO her brother-

And here is the rest of Renee's story-

You know, if it wasn't for these photos, I'd say it was a day that never happened. I can't remember a thing from the time we got the call to say he passed away until 2 weeks later. People keep telling me I did certain things but I cannot recall it at all.

It was a huge funeral and in the 1st photo is about a third of the people that were milling about outside before we went to the church. We couldn't leave from any of our houses and had to go to the car park of one of the local shopping centres.

The second photo is of Corné and myself on the blue bike. I was incapable of riding my own bike that day. Next to us is Max's best friend and whom my nephew was named after. We led the bike procession 2 x 2 behind the hearse. That is why you see a bit of a gap between us and the rest of the procession.

The 3rd photo is in the church and all his best and closest friends and family left a message on the coffin. His helmet and a set of his colours were also placed on the coffin. Max was cremated with his helmet and colours.

This has been a bit of a catharsis for me. I had to do this as I kept on getting "ostridge syndrome" when it came to the actual day of the accident and funeral.

I had gooseflesh and tears in my eyes when I read this e-mail that came with the above LO's and felt that Max and Renee deserved their own posting here- Love you girl and Thank you for sharing what I KNOW has been really HARD for you! MWAH's

Because after all the comments- I have to tell you this story about Ma and I - ( please understand that Ma was not my BLOOD Mother- but my best friend and I *adopted her as my MA* too-) And OH Boy- did we get into trouble together too- we NEVER noticed the age gap between us at all!-

I used to drop Nathan off at school in the morning and stop at Ma's for my morning coffee- she would always be dressed and ready and then we would plan our day together ( until school got out that is)- and this day we had to go and buy Dad Jan( Ma's hubby) some new shirts- and Dad is not a small man- LOL, so the normal clothing stores usually didn't stock his size- We have a warehouse type clothing chain that had some in stock and that was where we were heading for the morning- Now imagine a warehouse roof- you know the one that has NO ceiling- is filled with ROWS and ROWS of racks- ( got that picture-LOL)
Well I am walking up and down the Lady's section when I hear *KIM*- Kim- and I look around as it's sort of echoing around in the store- Ma is standing in the mens section holding something in her hands- so I take a stroll over- now smiling at EVERYONE that now know's my name is KIM- LOL

I get there and she's standing in the *socks, belts and undies* section and in her hand is a JOCKEY's mens tanga box- She looks at me and says- Phew did you see this??- So I take a glance and seeing this VERY TIGHT MUSCLED six pack in undies on the box ,hahaha- say - WOW, good six pack- She starts shaking her head with this chuckle that start's rising and say's NO!! Check out his PACKAGE!!- MA!!!!!!- WAHAHAHAHAHAHA, The guy posing on the box had a pair of WHITE undies on and they were DEFINETLY not DOUBLE CROTCHED!!!! ROTFLMAO- I tell you - I couldn't help myself- I was laughing that the tears started rolling- she started laughing and farted at the same time, hahahaha- and that was US FINISHED!!!- we had to drop the box and run for the door- hahahahahaha. Do you know that the sales people there remembered MY NAME the next time we went- wahahahahaha!!!! Wonder why???_ hahahahahahahahaha

And you know that *morning* stuck with us - she would always say something like * um see, he tried to squeeze it all in ONE package*- usually a man with his jeans toooo tight- and well that would just start us off all over again- LOL.

AND- another THANK YOU!!- SYLVIA- my wonderful German CT member and friend sent me a parcel - DID she make my day yesterday- WHOOOOHOOOOO- So I thought I would show you what I got-- BIG MWAHS GIRL!!

WAHAHAH- Wayne's wasn't opened here yet as I had to wait for him to come home- but I've left it censored- WAHAHAHAHAHA, Thanks girl for the HUGE LAUGH!!! It's a request kit from Judi Fisher - a Mother who lost her son much too early. She needed a memorial kit to scrap his memories with- It's taken me a while to get it finished, as I need to feel what I'm designing- and I needed to know a little more about Andrew,- The colours of the kit came from a beautiful story that Judi sent me ( I have included it in the files for you to get to know what inspired this kit and to get to know the thoughts behind it- as well as getting to know Andrew a little more)

FORGOTTEN NOT- a play on words from the flower *forget me not*, which comes from the story Judi so lovingly tells. There is 20 papers, 39 elements and


7 word art to complete this special kit. I have every RIGHT to put anything or say something the way I WANT - if it's such an irritation- hit the NEXT BLOG button at the top of your browser- because I WON"T change- I CAN'T change- and NO, I can't please everyone all the time-(and that's not from me not trying!)

As for the other annonomous comment- I don't know- I can walk and talk at the same time- drive and sing at the same time , SO YES- I CAN BELLY LAUGH and get work and things done- it makes for a much EASIER and HAPPIER day- ( rolling on the floor as most of us know is only for cats and dogs!)

Because these comments were done anonomously- I could not reply in my own capacity- so had to do this here- but from now on I have changed the *comment* boxes to only registered uses :-( There are SO MANY things we can complain about in this sad life as it is- hunger,povety,illness or just plain taxes! But about laughter??- Um I don't know-

I am sooo SORRY for this vent today- but this hurt me,- and here I want to thank ALL OF THOSE WONDERFUL PEOPLE that e-mailed me, PM'd me, and left me thos positive comments this weekend- ( before I had EVEN said anything!)- Girls you know who you are and I can't thank you ENOUGH for those messages- I LOVE YA MUCHLY! YAY YAY it FRIDAY

WOW- did this week FLY or WHAT?- It's already Friday!! LOL- but then again I think* back to school*, and designing just made this week whizz past without me even knowing it! And I think I have a boarder in my house ( well one that doesn't pay rent-LOL)- His name is Nathan!! I swear, my child just got back from being away for a month on Saturday night last week- and guess what- He's busy packing a bag now as I type this!- He's going on a canoe-ing trip with the school hiking club! ROTF!! I'm teasing him and asking him if I can rent his room out as he doesn't seem to live here- wahahaha. But I'm happy that he is such an *outdoors* boy! Most of his friends spend DAYS behind their computers playing games and don't even see the light of day! Nathan on the other hand is never in- he's swimming, playing cricket or golf or fishing or hiking etc etc etc! - much more healthier ( an um makes his mom feel guilty for sitting at HER PC- ROTF!) And this weekend is a STAY AT HOME weekend for *Darbie and Joan* -( um Wayne and I-LOL), Playing it safe and keeping myslef out of trouble- ROTFLMAO!



I finished my kit today ( the one I was sooo involved with yesterday) and I have to say that I am so happy how it came out- it's a very special kit ( it's a request kit) with a VERY special story behind it and I will share that all with you on Monday. Judi- I hope that I have forfilled your wishes and done Andrew justice.

Lost time

ROTFLMAO- Oh my WORD- I lost the whole morning somewhere! hahahaha- I'm busy working on a kit and I was sooooo involved in creating that I didn't realise the time!! My phone beeped next to me- and it was Nathan- MOM, schools finished!! WHAT????- It can't be 2 O'clock already!! WHOOOOAAAH! It was!! No wonder my stomach was grumbling too- LOL.

I haven't lost time like that in a while and I actually battled to focus my eye's for a few seconds after grabbing car keys and running out the door! LOL. Mr Mojo was here big time and he wasn't letting GO- hahahahahahahaha.

I've just eaten something now and Nathan has his first cricket practise for the year too. So that gives me my afternoon free too- WHOOOHOOOO! More playing-hahahaha. I think by the time Wayne gets home I'll be brain dead- LOL. Oh hell he'll just say that's normal! hee hee.

Back to routine

LOL- AWWWWW holidays are over- hahahahaha, Back to school this morning and back to the NORMAL Routine- Fetch, carry- Mom's taxi- LOL. Looking at Nathan today- I can't believe my little boy is a young man! He looks sooo sooo smart in his uniform and now being taller and slimmer- well he just looks tooo DANG cute! ( hee hee- I'm allowed to say that- I'm his very proud MommyLOL)-

Last night I had to cut his hair for school today ( no hair to touch ears or collar)- and Bunny said I should send a Before and After pic- LOL ( I wasn't sure if she was worried about poor old Nathans *head*- or just curious to see what he would look like-WAHAHAHAHAHA_ but I did a LO for her anyway-

It did take a while to convince Nath to stand still for the camara - he's all of a sudden camara shy- but I got them- LOL

Now according to him- he looks better with the MOP! WAHAHAHA, I like it shorter- lifts his face- but fashion is of course MORE important than MOM's advice-LOL

Back to school

EEEESSSSH, what a day! LOL- It's officially back to school for Nathan tomorrow, and of COURSE he needed EVERYTHING from shirts to shoes! So today has been running around LAST MINUTE looking for the official school shoe that would fit!! ( WOW my child has BIG FEET!!-wahahaha), trousers ( which are actually a whole size smaller than last years!), new white coloured shirts, grey socks and of course the books and stationary!! With Nathan only arriving back late Saturday - it didn't leave us much time to go shopping- LOL. I can't remember which country's still wear school uniforms?? But here in South Africa we wear school uniform basics (usually Grey or Navy) and a different coloured blazer and badge for each individual school- it make is sooo much easier and I think it stops a lot of peer pressure in schools amongst the teens about having to wear *brand names*-KWIM? There is also a huge debate about it helping with disapline and order- but that would be another long discussion- wahahahaha . We have mostly everything and now I'm EXHAUSTED! LOL- Got Nathan making me a cup of tea too (hee hee- nothing like a little bribery.)

Up and Running!!

WOOOOHOOOOO- my new PC is up and running!! With a little help from Bunny Wunny- LOL. Isn't the internet an amazing thing??- I tell you- a mail came through in my *old inbox* last night and I KNEW Bunny was up- so it was like- HELP, turn on HELLO and bang problem solved! hee hee But I have to say that Men are sooo sooo funny when it comes to asking for help ( uhum or directions-hahahaha) Wayne sat here for a while trying to figure it out himself and when I saw Bunny's mail I just said-I'll ask Bunny- *No- I'll get it now now* was his answer- LOL, And of course I just said - well I'll get it now then you don't have to look anymore- wahahahahaha- DONE!!

Which reminds me of a story when we had just moved to Argentina- * and oh gee's I'm in the DEEP doo doo* if Wayne reads this today- wahahahaha, But we had some other South Africans living in a house near ours ( and I mean 5 minutes away) which is all the time it took to get there- of course leaving at night we reversed out the drive way- Wayne turned and I said I was sure we are going in the wrong direction- OOOPS WRONG thing to say- LOL, I KNOW WHERE WE ARE was the reply!- Yeah well 3 HOURS later after landing up in DOWN TOWN Beunos Airies that's his opinion! ROTFLMAO! We eventually stopped at the petrol stations for coffee and eventually got home at 4am!! After leaving before 12!!! hahahahaha-LOL. Well I must say he did listen to me from then on- hee hee! ( sorry Waynie- couldn't resist!)LOL But we did get the full tour I tell you-hahahahahaha.
