EEEK, can you believe it's FEBRUARY already?? Wasn't it Christmas yesterday? lol OMG, I saw EASTER eggs in the shops already yesterday _ SERIOUSLY??? No jokes, it just seems to get earlier and earlier each year.. I know if I had to buy Easter Eggs NOW they wouldn't be around here on Easter Morning- nope I would have to do some "re-buys" by April for sure! They would be sitting in the cupboard shouting.. eat me, eat me, eat me - hahahahahahaha.
Yesterday was also my Dearest and Best Friend Deon's Bday..
Happy Birthday 'ol Fart.

We went out for supper last night which was awesome but I think it's the first time in years that Dee has woken up in the morning after his Bday without a HANGOVER! Sure he will be making up for that this weekend though as the boys aren't working overtime and have taken the weekend off. lol
OF course being the 1st Feb and it's time for the *Scrap Matters MAK *Mix A Kit* I loved this months colour swatch and couldn't resist getting stuck in.

And the boys eventually THINK they know what has been wrong with my internet connections as we had the techies out on Friday AGAIN! lol. My wireless on my Laptop is working like a dream and is as strong as ever ( and it works through the SAME modem I use for my main line) mmmmmmm, so why does my connection go POOF all the time even after the tower has been fixed! ( and it's been doing it BEFORE the tower went bang due to lightning! lol)... my network card!! DUH! We were all slow to think of it actually as we have tons of power outages and surges here due to sever storms! Well they promised to FIX it this weekend- so here's holding thumbs I get my WOOPIE fast connection back in a few days- lol

Internet broke AGAIN

BWWWWAHAHA- OMG, I am sooo frustrated it isn't funny. My main internet connection has been OFF for the most part of January. Seems all the storms we have been having in this area keeps damaging the main tower.

They have been on the phone with me constantly letting me know what is happening etc etc, but arrrrrrrrghhhhhhhh, FIX IT DAMMIT! lol. I've been on poor Deon's little portable wireless AGAIN - which has been a life saver for sure- but it's dial up speeds when it comes to uploading or even posting this page. GREAT for mail and just browsing. But hey, it's still way better than being totally without a "lifeline" right? ;-P

I got a "mainline" fix for about 5 hours yesterday- OMG, I was like a mad woman- uploading like a banshee. Running around the internet like a loon, no food, no coffee- just give me SPEED! BBWWWWHAHAHAHAHA. ;-P

*random chatter*-lol OMG! Well you all know Nathan started working this year and in his FIRST month of working he had to ask for time off as he has his "Provincial colours" for Rock and Surf Fishing Under21's! lol

His boss is very impressed about it ( Thank Goodness) as he is a big fisherman himself ( seems Nath landed in the right job- BWHAHAHA).

Anyways, Nathan KNEW that he would get an initiation of a HEAD SHAVE as all the boys getting into the team have had it done by the "old toppies". BUT oh man... what he didn't know was they first hack at it with scissors and leave it like that for a DAY! Nathan was NOT IMPRESSED and sent me photo's with a MOM, how the hell do you fix this?????

A BEFORE shot above ( these were small photo's sent to my camera) OMG, I nearly cried myself! They made him walk around like - well sit in the car while they travelled to Cape Town! mmmmmmmmmmmmm- SHAVE it my boy and no number 1 on a clipper is even going to save that!

He tried a number 1 first- but it looked terrible with the lines still going through like a train station- so it was use the clipper BARE and take it down to the scalp. and when I got the last photo- I nearly freaked as he looks JUST LIKE HIS DAD did in the Army! OMG, it's like looking at Wayne's twin. I think he looks cute actually, but then again he is my BOY! lol. He is not impressed by does laugh at it now ;-)

Wear sunscreen on that head my boy and keep a cap on- cause it's going to BURN! hahahaha- OY!

I have a little something I made up and re-did them for you into usable "brushes" and PNG's as a CU freebie that you can play with:

6 PENCIL doodles made into brushes (all clean and tidy-lol) and separated PNG's for those who can't use the brushes ;-)

WHeeeeee- it's Friday the 13th today! Are you superstitious? To me Friday the 13th has always been lucky! I LOVED going to our local casino at home on Friday the 13th's - It would usually bring me a little "spending money"- hee hee. But that won't be today as I'm FAR away from my home casino and might just try a lotto ticket tonight ;-P- lol

A dogs life???- well it's definitely Wayne's adopted Poodle "Sherlock's"... Gosh, the poor thing has been so quiet since we got back from holiday and I said to Wayne he is pining and wanting the fun he had on holiday.. hell I'm feeling a bit like that too. Who doesn't want to have sun, sea and family and friends everyday lol

mmmmmmmmmmmm, this boat thing is not so bad... sitting in the front here is better than hanging out a car window for sure!

ooooh Ok, much more fun on "Dads" lap driving I think?

Well lets seee.., getting spoilt in Granddad's lap on a fun family ride is maybe better?

OOOH NO.... this is MUCH better, why sit when you can lie down, have the wind blowing through your hair and be in DAD's lap-- yeah yeah this is heaven! lol

Sherlock had a blast as is now a "CAPE or BEACH" dog for sure.. he even loved the water and swimming in the river and sea. We had good laughs at him and his antics and the "grand parents" have phoned twice to see how their little "man" is doing now that he is home- BWHAHAHA. Looks like Sherlock has found the perfect family too ;-)

Happy New Year and I'm back

WHEEEEEEEEEEE, I'm back from our summer holidays and sort of still trying to get my head straight here.. so thought I'd start the year off with a BIG HELLO to all of you first ;-)

Happy New Year to you and your families and I hope that 2012 is going to be a great year for all of you.

Gosh we got back late Sunday night and yesterday I couldn't WAIT to get my main PC up and running.. (suitcases and unpacking can wait- lol) .. well that's what I thought anyways- hahaha. mmmmmmmm, I turn it on and click on my "name" to bring up my log in box ( you know the one for your password?) and NOTHING... nope nada, it won't budge! WHATTTTT, nnnnnnooooo, don't do this to me on my first day back! So I restart the PC ( oh I did this about 10 times during the morning- hahah) and windows starts up fine but still can't get past that "beep beep" box! So what do you do when you start hyperventilating?? You phone your PC guru DEON and hubby Wayne to complain- BWHAHAHA!

No problem they say.. we'll look when we get home from work.. ok. I won't panic yet as I know windows is loading.. so I ACTUALLY DO all the unpacking and even repacked our whole wardrobe.. hey I was bored- lol

And true to form of course, Deon comes up here teasing me about being blonde and my PC going rusty after a month being off etc etc, and does ONE CLICK and Voilla - he's in... What the hell dammit, I did that most of the day.

He starts laughing and says my mouse is STUFFED and he used the right button.. Sheeee's dammit, I could have done that if I had thought of it ... mmmmm, maybe the teasing about being blonde isn't so far wrong- BWHAHAHAHA.

So I have my little LT mouse on now so I could get stuck in.. a month seems like a lifetime here at the moment.. phew, I don't even know where to start- lol

So thought I'd share a few of the holiday pics of Christmas Day with you so far..

We rented a house a road back from the River and had some really stunning views right to the beach.. The folks of course stayed with us the whole holiday and Wayne brought Sherlock the poodle with too ;-)

The one and only "together" shot we get every Christmas morning ;-)

The "Broedelet" Boys all together ( gosh you can see the apples didn't fall far from the tree!! BWAHAHAHA)

All the "boys" including my Dad( who you can see I take after with my height!! lol)

The only "boobies" in the house at the time as my FIL said and I couldn't resist.. my awesome MIL played along too.. hahaha.

That about says it all- BWHAHAHA. He wore his chefs hat all morning too.. ;-)

Nathan got a whole stocking full of little gifts with notes from his girlfriend Kristy ( who spent Christmas in PE with her Gran and joined us the next day) and had us all in stitches... She had asked him what he wanted for Christmas and he replied, gadgets, fishing stuff etc. Well this was one of the Gadgets.. a PEZZ dispenser. lol

He also got some "Super Hero" Plasters for the cuts and injuries he always gets on the rocks fishing.. lol

I had fun with the "ribbon and bows" and eventually sported a headband with a huge bow on my forehead.. you can just read Wayne's mind here thinking.. Oh Lord, here she goes again! lol

Waynes folks LOVED their beach bag with a picture of them both fishing on it ;-)

And even Sherlock got a present of a new Teddy ( one that at least has eyes and a nose on it- for now that is)

the family with their Christmas Hats on ready to EAT!!

Around the Christmas Table that was very plain this year due to being in a rented house and not at home, but it was just the family and we had a good LONG lunch that landed up in a good afternoon snooze for all of us- lol

Of course these are just a FEW but it's a start and I can't wait to get stuck in this year...

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE- it is sooo good to be at home. OMG, but time has really just run away.. a week at home is tooo short! lol

Nathan was laughing at me the first night we got home as I was scrounging for winter PJ pants! Seriously going from high 30C and 40C to just on 20C made me shiver- lol. But no complaining from me… SEA AIR, clean and fresh and COOL! YAY!

We are leaving for our holiday house at Bushmans River tomorrow morning and everyone is so excited to get there. Nathan has filled my lounge with fishing equipment and stuff ready to go in the cars tomorrow- hahaha. Looks more like a fishing shop at this stage ;-P

Wayne is being held up at work ;-( and might only arrive a week later than planned(24th Dec), which I am really sad about but totally understand. We are hoping he can make it before Christmas Eve, as it will NOT be the same without him! Miss you love and get your ass home ;-)

I won’t have a permanent internet connection as we are in the wild, so this is the THANK YOU for all your wonderful support this year.

On my Way Home

WOOHOOOOOOOOOO!! My boy is here and we are leaving sparrow fart tomorrow morning- like as in 4am! YIKES... lol. But it's a long 12 hour road trip and we would prefer to get out of this concrete jungle before the traffic gets busy.

The last few days have been shopping and running around making sure I have all my goodies with me to take home. YAY- I seriously can't wait, SEA, SAND and sea breezes! (not to mention the hangovers- bWHAHAHAHA)

I will be online until the 15th but I don't think I will have much time to be online.. I will pop in of course to say "goodbye" before I head to the "wild" for three weeks ;-)

Just a few more sleeps

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE- Nathan arrives on Sunday night and we leave for HOME on Tuesday morning! Gosh I am not looking forward to the 12hour drive, but I am getting really excited about seeing everyone and sleeping in my old bed at home - BWHAHAH. It's so close now I can smell it- yup, that beautiful coastal sea breeze. YAY!

I only have a few more things to sort out and then I can relax and start packing my bags. Wayne will follow once they have "Christmas Shutdown" and we are all on our way to Bushmans River ( where Wayne and I met when we were 16 and funny enough it's where Nathan met his girlfriend Kristy too). History repeating?? mmmmmmmmmmmm, we will just have to see how it unfolds-lol

WOOOOOOOOHOOO! It's overcast today, OMG, seriously I am loving it. We had huge amounts of thunder and lightning last night and when it started to drop water out the clouds I ran outside to actually STAND in it I was so excited... mmmmmmmmmmmmm seriously, three drops later and a lot more noise and that was it. BWHAHAHA. So disappointing! I really really wanted to jump around in the rain but still waiting! lol

Maybe later, as my poor garden really really needs it. With the intense heat and no rain, the plants have got some serious "sun burn" and everything is brown around the edges.

BWWWWWWAHAHAHA C from Paris, I had a good giggle at your message last night. "DOODOO" is a just a nice word for POOP or as we adults say sh-t! lol

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, the heat broke today!!! I woke up to WIND that is actually COOL! Gosh it hit a "wonderful"- NOT, 45C in the sun here on Sunday that even hubby was moaning! Seriously that is just WAYYYY toooo hot to even breathe! lol

But this morning I am as happy as a pig in "Doodoo"! lol

I have a story to share with you.... OMG, I haven't laughed till I choked in a LONG time and still giggle when re-reading it! lol

On Friday evening I was sitting in the lounge with Wayne and Deon when my phone "beeps"... letting me know I have a text message....

I read it and start laughing soooo hard that I am crying and choking at the same time! Wayne and Deon are just staring and asking WHAT WHAT WHAT?? lol

Here's how the story goes ;-P

Gaye my wonderful sister (GS Creations) took off her bra in her car a while ago(like we all do when feeling hot or very uncomfortable) and forgot to take it out and well as we woman do totally Forgot about it.....

She takes Caden(my little niece) out in it Friday afternoon and Caden finds it in the back and says..............................

..... "Mommy, I found your "titty panties"-!

BWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, *gasp* lol

I will NEVER be able to put on a BRA now without thinking of that ... even Wayne is calling it a "titty panty" now- BHAHAHAHAHA. So logical in a way and so out of the mouth of babes!

And while you are still giggling I have something NEW for you today ;-)

Well it just hit 11 minutes past 11 am on the 11th of the 11th 2011 here a few minutes ago.. and I want to wish my dearest Daddy a VERY HAPPY Birthday today too. Sorry I can't be there Dad but know you are cooking up a storm today for the family tonight so you are as happy as a pig in sh-t ;-)

Yup my dad is a kitchen fundi who LOVES cooking, so he is enjoying himself today.

And a special Happy Birthday to Miss Harmony ( Bunny's Daughter) who turns 11 today... how special is that!! Harmony I hope you have a fantastic day today and that mom spoils you rotten- lol. Have some cake for me too ok!

Well I'm still melting my ass off here, sheeeeeeeeeee's it just doesn't let up and according to the news it's unheard of for this length of time and year! BWWWWAHAHAHA- Can you say HOT HOT HOT! Yikes guys, we are in the middle of a freaking heat wave that is killing me- or melting me actually. It's sooo hard sitting here when it's 40C+ and the portable aircon I have just takes the edge off of that and not by much. As the song say's "slip sliding away"- ROTF!

This came from Jenni during the week, and it's about as true as it gets!

BWWWAHAHAHA- *giggle 1 for today*

And to top the heat my internet is just not playing with either- Gosh it's more off than on and I keep having to borrow Deon's portable wireless. Enverge did promise to send someone out about three weeks ago.................mmmmmmmm, well lets just say service in this place SUCKS! I'm still waiting- and they phoned again today to say they will be here by 11am-- well it's now 11.20am and nothing yet.

Plus a few other things have happened the last few days to put a little "pressure" on this girls shoulders- so when I got this this morning I just killed myself laughing... (take it for what it is) - I think it's PERFECT! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

WARNING * Grab COFFEEE* long post ahead-lol

BWWWWWWWAHAHA- ok, the last three weeks have been totally CRAZY in capital letters in this house. It sure does make life REALLY interesting and has kept me hopping! lol

You all know we had all the "rented furniture" removed last Thursday so we had a "blank canvas" and NO MORE GREEN!! lol I honestly felt I was living in a "hospital" this last year ( which mmmmmmm isn't far wrong at the moment -lol)... so after re-painting the whole house a neutral tone and getting the owners old furniture out it was time to DECORATE- woot!

I got the lounge done and my bedroom finished last weekend...

The green walls don't look sooo bad here(taken with flash at night) but boy when the light shines through the curtains during the day..it looked like this.......

WOW!! toooo much green for this girl! lol

*AFTER lounge photo* - wooooooooohoooooooooo, still a plant in the corner missing but it's more ME! lol

*AFTER SHOT* my bedroom...(didn't have a before shot of this one- but it was GREEN too!) and LOVE that picture above our bed.. ( it's a moulded 3d look) as it reminds me of ME with my cigs! lol

On Saturday DEON leaves to go and buy his "bedroom" suite ( you know headboard, pedestals etc) and because Wayne and I are BUSY in the lounge ( you know the TV stuff is important right?? lol) he decided to take off a SOLID wood headboard off the truck himself!

All I hear is WAYYYYYNNNNNEEEE, and hear PAIN in the shout... so run and there is Deon holding his arm and he is white and sweating!

The stupid stubborn ASS tore his bicep muscle RIGHT off! He had this popeye arm and was in intense pain.

So it was lock up and run to the emergency room.... and yes me laughing and teasing that he didn't need "spinach" to get big muscles.. hey I can't help it! lolThe Doc takes one look and he is booked into HOSPITAL the next day ( yup we came home and I had to drug him for the pain until the specialist could operate on Sunday morning).

Sunday was a full day in the hospital (OY) while they stapled and stitched that muscle back to the tendons! We even watched the RUGBY World Cup ( which we lost- SOB) with the nurses in the reception area- BWHAHAHAHA. I of course couldn't help shouting for our team... and Wayne is going sssssssssshhh- it's a hospital! Until the nurses said... can you hear??? BWWWWWAHAHAHA- the whole hospital was screaming and shouting from all the wards- was actually tooo cool to hear!

Poor Deon is now stuck with his "left arm" ONLY and can't do much... so this girl needs a "nurses outfit"... lol.

And he is SOOOOOOOOOO going to KILL me for this one! Was taken from my phone on Sunday evening when the first thing Deon said when he could open his eyes was SMOKE! lol hee hee- Love ya Dee. ;-P

Gosh, my “squatter camp” is now EMPTY! WOOHOOO- the movers came yesterday to fetch all the owners old furniture and I have a “clean slate” to decorate now. So excited to get our own personalities in here.. even Wayne is home today ready with his “Hilti” and uhum credit card- BWHAHAHAH ;-P

OMG- I can’t believe that Wayne and I have been married 22 years today! Gosh actually we’ve been together 30 YEARS!! Holey crap-lol

Yeah, it’s our wedding anniversary and I must admit I so suck at getting the date right. But my dear gem of a hubby remembers it every year without fail! lol. Well I’m still living in my “squatter” camp at the moment but things are looking better.. I now have my stuff lying in packets waiting to go up and on, when the owners remove their goodies - YAY!! TV unit and coffee table are here ( phew) and now I just have to do Deon’s room stuff this weekend before he comes back from Mauritius on Sunday..lol. Lucky bugger has been sipping cocktails on the beach, diving, going on catamaran cruises etc etc. Don’t I WISH! hahaha.

He did say he felt like an “old pops” the other morning with a major stiff body and a good hangover so his day planned was SUN TANNING on the beach! lol

Oh my gosh, this whole week has FLOWN by so fast that yesterday being Thursday I thought it was Wednesday! lol, yeah yeah, I’m blonde and I know it- and so do most of the people that know me- HAHAHA.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee, the Rugby World Cup started today and as you know we South Africans are VERY passionate about our rugby..weekends come to a standstill when a game is on or any function gets “adjusted” to fit in any important game! lol

I can’t believe it’s 4 years ago that we WON the world cup and I remember watching at home and sobbing like a baby when our team held the cup up.

Wacky Wednesday

Gosh I am SO Loving the warmer weather and all the birds and LIGHT in the morning now! WHEEEEEEEEEEE. Happy chappy here for sure!

I’m waiting for my new bed to arrive ( well since yesterday- BLAH) as we have to get furniture in here by the end of the month and as long as I have a bed to sleep on I’m happy! lol.

We rented this place furnished in the rush to get up here, but all the furniture goes at the end of the month. MMMMMMMMM- and the boys are NOT the big “get to the shops” people when there is RUGBY and other more interesting things on. BWHAHA. We have a few things that we bought to replace the “really OLD ones left for us” like fridge and freezer, TV and obviously the surround sound and blue ray player-lol. But I have to keep reminding them that the floor is NOT a place I want to sit and sleep on. LOL So guess what we’re doing this weekend?- YUP, SHOPPING! (well Sunday is rugby so got to grab them SAT morning-hahah.)

HAHAHA- yup it IS RAINING here. I was going to do a little pimp yesterday for my dear friend and mentor Bunny, but decided it needed it’s own post.

You all know my roots in Digi started at DSO (Digital Scrap Obsession) and it was my “home” since 24 April 2007 until it closed for all us faithful DSO designers due to changing times and situations.. *sob*.

It holds a very special place in my heart and so does my friend Bunny. She taught me everything I know about the business and mentored me through all the processes of designing and “being online” (I was a total “online” virgin and totally GREEN) - with a lot of pulled hair and a few greys I’m sure! LOL. I still use Bunny’s favourite “line” for me- I’m technically disadvantaged and DO NOT PUSH any buttons! BWWWWWWWWAHAHAHA. Yup, poor Bunny had to fix many a “pushed wrong” button, but I learnt a LOT with her patience and laughter!

*FLASHBACK* – my first BLOG POST freebie ( YIKES)! lol

Bunny soon became a really close friend and she still is! We still share our family stories and heartbreaks and successes via mail ( and if I can get my Skype to work at home… we would be yakking again for hours! (SOON Bunny promise!-BWHAHAHA)

Having a BALL

Omg, I swear I intended to blog at least every second day while I’m at home but intentions flew out the window ( with my voice!-lol) Hoping my old PC here still remembers how to publish and everything still works- lol

I’ve been having more than a ball since I’ve been at home and have hardly been “home” so to speak. HAHAHA. It’s been visiting, eating out, drinking out, braai’s, party, suppers at family, shopping and running taxi for kids. – WHEEEEEEEEEE, I’m in my element! lol Only problem is there isn’t enough hours in the day and night at the moment to see and do everything I still want to. Hey a girl still needs to get some beauty sleep at my age- BWHAHAHA.

The reason I came home for a bit was because my very special sister Brenda was turning 40 and Nathan’s girlfriend Kristy was joining her old school class at their Matric farewell Dance and I was asked to help with make up and hair- YAY!. Wayne and I drove down ( all 12 hours of ass numbing stop and go’s!) and he flew back to “Harties” for work on Monday, leaving me with the car. ( one that I have to fight for to use as Nathan has a little habit of grabbing the keys in the morning- BWHHAHA)

The Dance was Saturday night and Kristy’s mom was also here for a bit from the States and joined us for most of the weekend too.

The kids all dressed up and ready to hit the “Party” in style! lol.

And GOT to LOVE this one! I have another Laugh out Loud person in the family! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! hahaha

Wayne played chauffeur for the night as Nathan didn’t want to drink and drive after the “after party”- GO BOY! hahaha- which just meant getting up at 3.30am to fetch them.

My dear Sister Brenda’s Birthday lunch was held on Sunday even though her official Birthday was on the Monday.

AHH (big heart) my very special sister Brenda ;-)

Her favourite chocolate cake!!

Making a wish with my mom looking on to give a hand if needed.

I took Brenda on a Birthday Shopping spree on Monday ( her Birthday) and we had a fantastic time. She chose a “diamond” watch ( she LOVES sparkly jewellery) and some new clothes and of course lunch and Milkshakes! WHEEEEEEE!

Tuesday was PAINT day- yeah, to top it off I’m repainting the whole of the interior of “Nathan’s house” as he now calls it! BWHAHAH.

So much to tell and not enough space!

I have to do some CT enabling too!

YIKES. I had LUNCH again with all the friends on Friday which of course landed up being supper and longer- with me singing U2 songs with the “entertainer” at the bar- OY, still don’t have a voice! lol

So uhummmmmmmmmm- Sorry Ruthy, it’s late.

IT SNOWED at my sister Gaye’s place! And I was there just two weeks before HOPING for a little glimpse of that white stuff- honestly! I’ve NEVER seen, smelt or felt snow and I MISSED IT by being at the coast! hahaha.

So Gaye (GS Creations) send’s me a ton of photo’s via my phone that night ALL excited (COW! hahah) and later sends me some photo’s.

Look at little Madam and her snowman- ahhhhhh I so wanted to be in that photo! lol

I of course call Nathan to come and look at them and the first thing he says when he see’s this one is…………..

Hah, you can see that’s Gaye’s snowman, she’s way tooo arty to just stick to the round ball one!

Kids! BWWWWWWWWAHAHAHAH! lol

How COOL is that bear!!

Phew- Okies, I’m off to supper at the in-laws tonight, had supper at my dad last night and have sushi with Ant and seeing my sister Kerry tomorrow.

Will chat again and show you ton’s more photo’s from the “other side” as I’m leaving to drive back again first thing Friday morning. ( not looking forward to the 12 hour road trip again! lol)

National woman’s Day

South Africa celebrates “woman” today in our National Woman’s Day holiday. And this woman is slowly starting to fume out her ears! BWHAHAHA.

After a ton of phone calls etc to my internet provider yesterday(Wayne sending mail from work and on the phone too- lol), about not having any connection/line since Friday – they tell me to try a different port in my router as they don’t see me connected to it and think I blew mine due to a power serge/failure on Friday – mmmmmmmmm, ok ………and WHAT do you know, I change the ports and WHAM —I have a connection! WHEEEEEEEEEE……(short lived!- haha)

and then it disappeared again for 3 hours this afternoon! WTF? lol I think there is something else a little “wacky” here besides me. You think? haha.

But I’m hanging in till I get HOME on Thursday….. Gosh can’t wait! I’ll have to use my old PC again but will have a stable LAND line for two weeks- WOOT!

Mid week crazy

OMG- I’ve been as sick as a dog this week with this flu! I haven’t had flu for a long while actually – just the usual sinus and ear stuff that ALWAYS bugs me. I really shouldn’t have bragged so hard huh? lol. I look like Rudolph who likes his wine today- big red cheeks and a red nose from blowing. LOVELY!! not! BWHAHA

To top it off this week my dear darling Hubby had his Bday on Tuesday the 2nd and we couldn’t even go out to eat! HE even COOKED! Makes me feel even worse and terribly guilty, but I promised to make it up to him this weekend- hahaha. Luckely enough I had already bought all his presents and cards last week so he could at least have THAT. Man being sick sucks EGGS! Seriously! lol

I did get to scrap this week which was a bit like “therapy” and always makes you feel better- lol

Cooties galore

Bring on Spring!! I am sooo ready for it! lol.

Gosh I think the next time I decide to go visit my dear sister Gaye out there in the high hills will be spring/summer! BWHAHAHAHA. OMG, I thought it was cold here but Dullstroom takes the cake for sure! At 5.30pm when we arrived it was just 3C and my jeans had gone stiff on my legs just getting out the car. It burned your chest just to breathe with the air being so thin as well as cold!

Wayne even made poor Ben stand outside in the –C temps of the evening to braai (BBQ)! Yup, my hard case hubby just had to have his “Gaye braai” no matter what the weather. Gaye and I sat inside sipping sherry and giving Miss Caden some love and attention as she had a bad case of Gastro. Shame man, I felt so sorry for her the whole weekend, as she was not well. We did spend some good time with her yesterday when she was feeling better but she is still not 100% today and is at home with mom.

I also came home with a cold that I had been bragging to everyone I had managed to avoid this winter even though “Nathan, Kristy, Deon and Wayne” have all had it over the last few weeks - Serves me right huh? lol. Don’t tempt Mr Murphy or he will bite you in the ass! Well ok, maybe just mine! BWHAHAH.

OOOOOOH and there is a lot happening at the end of the week and some EXCITING news I can let slip today- hee hee.

WHEEEEEEEEEE- well at the moment it just seems to be flying past and it’s been over a week since I blogged- YIKES! When things just start to settle down here, I should KNOW not to get toooo comfortable- lol

I landed up with my ear and sinus infections AGAIN- back to the docs on Monday!-arrghhh, I hate the dry winters in the place - beside freezing my poor noo-noo’s off, my nose can’t handle the dry grass and fires all over the place. But hey- I’m still breathing so I’m not complaining to much- BWHAHAHAHA.

Dad Jan ( Deon’s Dad) came up to visit, so I have been a little busy too. BUT…..I have lots of exciting news and things to tell and show you next week! (hee hee)
